Attorney Mikael Laguna

Meet Mikael Laguna, Esq., a dedicated and experienced attorney passionate about advocating for victims and the less fortunate. With a focus on Personal Injury law, Mikael has spent over a decade honing his legal skills and representing clients in various cases.

Mikael graduated from Florida International University College of Law in 2011. Since then, he has been admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Mikael has gained valuable experience working with plaintiffs and defendants throughout his career. He has been associated with smaller boutique Plaintiffs’ firms, insurance companies at larger firms (including a large national firm), and even served in-house for an insurance company. His cases have ranged in complexity, from assigning benefits cases in county court with a few thousand dollars at stake to significant commercial cases removed to federal court involving millions.

The legal community respects Mikael for his commitment and knowledge, and he is humble and client-centered despite this. His dedication to the welfare of his clients and the pursuit of justice speaks for itself, and he looks forward to using his knowledge and skills and gaining more of it.

Regarding professional memberships, Mikael acknowledges that he has been part of various associations in the past, but he is not actively involved in any. However, his primary focus remains on providing exceptional legal services to his clients.

Mikael enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter outside his legal practice, exploring new restaurants, bars, and lounges as a self-proclaimed foodie. He also enjoys boating, fishing, and barbequing, embracing outdoor activities that enrich his life. As a sports enthusiast and die-hard Miami Dolphins fan, he cherishes attending their games as a season ticket holder and passionately following his favorite collegiate and professional football, basketball, and soccer teams.

Beyond his legal and sporting endeavors, Mikael boasts interesting and unexpected skills. He studied German for seven years during middle and high school, receiving an international baccalaureate certificate. In his youth, he pursued ice hockey and practiced Judo for several years.
